iDose and O-MAR increase CT image quality, reduce radiation

Southtowns Radiology is pleased to offer Phillips CT technology with iDose and O-MAR to improve image quality while reducing radiation dosage for scans.  Artifacts from large metal objects such as orthopedic implants can be problematic in imaging. These artifacts typically result in loss of anatomical information, impeding visualization of tissue and critical structures. That is why Southtowns Radiology is offering the Phillips iDose4 Premium Package. iDose4, Phillips’ 4th-generation iterative reconstruction technique improves image quality through artifact prevention and increased spatial resolution. O-MAR reduces artifacts caused by large orthopedic implants.  All of this is achieved while still reducing the radiation dosage up to 50%.
