Southtowns Radiology was among the first medical imaging facilities in Western New York to install a 64-Slice CT Scanner. The 64-Slice CT Scanner is the best in CT technology and can result in a shorter exam time and more detailed, high-resolution images.
The Multi-Slice CT technology allows for improved three-dimensional imaging and enhanced vascular imaging which can reduce the need for conventional invasive angiography.
In addition, Southtowns Radiology now offers virtual colonoscopy on our 64-Slice CT scanner. This cutting edge technology provides doctors and patients with an improved treatment option for cases of incomplete traditional colonoscopies.
